Custom milled oak and stainless kitchen

 

Complementary elements

This solid oak kitchen cabinetry with a double crown and horizontal trim perfectly complements the tile backsplash while contrasting the remaining cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. We expertly joined the oak elements using bridle joins, which are similar to a mortise and tenon joint.

Three pieces of oak were used for this design, including six presses of oak, beautifully milled to precise detail, for the double crown at the top. Stained glass inserts complete the cabinet doors, while the balance of the kitchen cabinets are stainless steel to match the appliances.
