Contemporary Contrast

This open concept kitchen with a 14 foot ceiling called for a solution with some grandeur, and lots of storage space. We used black-dyed repurposed wood for the main kitchen cabinetry, paired with a stainless steel backsplash, and staggered brick pattern lacquered cabinets for further contrast.

Extending a 12 foot peninsula from the wall created the perfect breakfast bar with plenty of added prep space. The final result was a sleek, modern kitchen design that brilliantly contrasted its own elements as well as the hardwood floors and blue-painted walls.
