Elm Burl and Mahogany Desk

 

The executive look 

This nine foot executive desk is made from solid 6-inch Mahogany pieces and elm burl that was milled in our workshop. We also milled the base and cap ogee detailing as well as the beautiful pencil trim to contrast the polished burl panels.

Intensive planning and thought were needed to achieve the skewed desk-end cabinets, a secret compartment, plus a monitor lift for stowing the computer screen when it’s not in use.
