Mission Style Den
This double desk was designed to accommodate two workstations. Featuring a quarter-sawn oak countertop with full-length 14-foot lumber, solid oak cubbies above, and a subtle celtic pattern on the drawer faces. The tapered gable ends match structural pillars throughout the house and add a degree of complexity with the adjacent shelving. The 10″ ledge and pigeon-hole uprights work together as a truss for additional stability of the main 6′ desk span. Filing drawers below and hidden double drawers above. 14′ x 8′
“The solid oak counter feels like it will last a hundred years. No more rickety Ikea units for us!”
