Space for two

This 10 foot walk-in closet space had a 45-degree corner next to the door—an obstacle which we solved by making a hamper space fronted by a straight cabinet. The solid walnut cabinet allows enough hanger and shelf space for an expansive wardrobe.

Separating the dresser with a single drawer allowed for 2 people to use the piece and also doubles as a bench. Three wide drawers balance the dresser on each side, and the shelves below offer plenty of storage for footwear.
